Control unit DME programmed (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 12 14 1 427 287. The number stamped on the part is 12141427287; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1427287. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 1744503, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
