This is a genuine BMW control unit DME programmed (exchange unit), part number 12 14 1 430 805. The number stamped on the part is 12141430805; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1430805. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 1430571, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1430880.

It fits the E46 sedan and coupe (323i and 328i, 1999–2000), with the M52 engine.

BMW draws it on the Control unit DME, programmed (12_0897) diagram.
