Genuine BMW part 12 14 7 510 887: Control unit DME programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 12147510887; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7510887. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7500837, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (318i, 1997–1999), with the M43 engine.
