This is a genuine BMW control unit DME programmed (exchange unit), part number 12 14 7 528 666. The number stamped on the part is 12147528666; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7528666. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7513682, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (320i, 2001–2005), with the M52 engine.

BMW draws it on the Control unit DME, programmed (12_0897) diagram. It weighs about 600 g (1.3 lb).
