This is a genuine BMW control unit DME programmed (exchange unit), part number 12 14 7 532 836. The number stamped on the part is 12147532836; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7532836. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7532464, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7533011.

It fits the E46 touring (330i, 2000–2001), with the M54 engine.
