The number stamped on the part is 12317509110; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7509110. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH compact generator”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Alternator with motor and mounting. It supersedes the older numbers 7509113 and 7511604, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Compact Alternator (12_0614) and Compact Alternator (12_1989). It weighs about 5.8 kg (13 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
